     As a student of the University of the Philippines, I pledge to act ethically and uphold the value of honor and excellence.  I understand that suspected misconduct on given activities/assignments/examinations will be reported to the appropriate office and if established, will result in disciplinary action in accordance with University rules, policies and procedures.  I may work with others only to the extent allowed by my Professor/Instructor.

     Moreover, I understand that most materials in Course Packs of the courses that I enrolled in may contain works that are subject to copyright protection under RA 8293 [Law on Copyright] or the “Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines”.  Any reproduction and/or communication of the material by me maybe subject to copyright infringement and the copyright owners have the right to take legal action against such infringement.
